The Crackle Vase Pink Large design is inspired by frozen ice that has just cracked. The design influence is from the convergence of hot glass and cold water that creates a crackled finish. The designer wanted to create a surface reminiscent of frozen, crusted ice. A crunchy, crackling feel. The technique is old, but the designer uses it in her own personal way. The Crackle series is hand made, mouth blown in Kosta, Sweden by Desinger �sa Jungnelius. It takes 8 artisan to create one piece. Ideal for functional vase and stand alone art piece.
