The Crackle Large Bowl is inspired by frozen ice that has just cracked. The design influence is from the convergence of hotglass and cold water that creates a crackled finish. The designer wanted to create a surfacereminiscent of frozen, crusted ice. A crunchy, crackling feel. The techniqueis old, but the designer uses it in her own personal way. The Crackle series is hand made mouthblownin Kosta, Sweden by Desinger �sa Jungnelius. It takes 12 artisan to create one piece. Ideal for functional bowl and stand alone art piece.
